My Office Indoor Plants

As much as possible, we like to see, smell and feel live greenery in their environment. With this in mind, we have introduced their office space with live plants, some taken from home and others, store bought. Besides adding beauty to our offices, plants make us feel good.

One of my colleagues - Vineta's indoor plant - a wonderful Amaryllis.

At long last the Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) have come into bloom to add some flowerful color to our lives... but I have a lovely amaryllis with lots of leaves and no blooms, yet... : (

 

Today's flower

Visiem - apaļš kā pūpols, vesels kā rutks  !

Today's bloom is Croton (Codiaeum variegatum)

Yesterday I found it again, with flowers now open, and so here I am, to give you a shot at seeing them in all their glory.

Well, I have to admit that in all my years of plant growing, I've never seen a Croton flowering. I get tired of them - their need for just the right light and humidity.

 

I had no idea that they flowered. Croton the flowers are really neat and the flowers smell so sweet...
